CHRISTIANS OFTEN SAY “I WISH I COULD SEE A MIRACLE!”
THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAMME IS TO SHOW THAT WE ARE ALL MIRACLES, CREATED BY GOD.
ALL LIVING HUMANS, ANIMALS, BIRDS, FISH, INSECTS, AND PLANTS ARE ALL CREATED BY GOD!
- EVERYTHING IS SUPERNATURAL, AND NOTHING IS NATURAL
- THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “NATURAL” IN THE REAL WORLD!
- LIFE DID NOT FORM BY CHANCE IN THE PRIMORDIAL SLIME!
- AS BELIEVERS, WE NEED TO RADICALLY CHANGE THE WAY WE LOOK AT OUR WORLD, WHICH IS WHAT THIS SERIES IS ALL ABOUT!

- Life in the Womb from Conception to Birth.
- Life in the Womb according to the Bible
- The Miracle of Life, created by Jesus Christ.
- Life starts at Conception.
CONCEPTION OCCURS IN THE FALLOPIAN TUBE
Slide 1 – CONCEPTION
At conception the man’s sperm enters the woman’s egg, and new human being begins. As we will see later, the entire design of the baby is present at conception.
This new baby is now complete with baby’s own unique set of DNA, which is present from the first day of life.
The baby’s sex is determined from conception.
The baby now has all the genetic information he will ever have.
Baby has a unique combination of 46 human chromosomes in this single cell, half of them from the mother, and half from the father.
FERTILISATION OCCURS IN THE FALLOPIAN TUBE
SLIDE 2 – FALLOPIAN TUBE
ONE DAY AFTER CONCEPTION
Cell division begins about a day after conception.

The fertilised egg takes about 7 days to travel down the fallopian tube, before implanting in the wall of the womb, called the Endometrium.

EIGHTEEN DAYS AFTER CONCEPTION THE BABY’S HEART IS BEATING!
SLIDE 4 – BABY AT 18 DAYS!
By the 20th day, the brain and nerves are beginning to form!
AFTER 4 WEEKS
SLIDE 5 – BABY AT 4 WEEKS
During the first 4 weeks the baby grows to 10,000 times his size at Conception! That is some growth!
By now, blood circulation is well-established.
The larynx and inner ear are beginning to form, as are the legs and arms.
The liver, pancreas, lungs, and stomach are also forming.
At 4 weeks, baby is 5 millimeters long, approximately.
SIX WEEKS
SLIDE 6 – BABY AT SIX WEEKS
Baby moves six weeks after conception though the mother does not yet feel the movements.
The skeleton is complete and nervous reflexes are present.
Brain waves can be detected!
In hospitals, if brain waves are not detected, the body is assumed to be dead.
Baby is very much alive!
The baby has all the internal organs of an adult.
The process of ossification (the hardening of the bones) begins.
Now the baby is about 9 mm long.
EIGHT WEEKS
SLIDE 7– BABY AT EIGHT WEEKS
AT EIGHT WEEKS EVERY PART OF THE BODY FOUND IN AN ADULT IS ALREADY IN THE BABY!
Baby is now about 30 mm long, and weighs about 4 grams
If you were to gently touch the baby, by pressing on Mummy’s tummy, the baby will move away!
You can now see baby’s lips, his ears, and also tell if he is a boy or a girl!
ELEVEN WEEKS
SLIDE 8 BABY AT ELEVEN WEEKS
Notice the umbilical cord! This is how baby receives oxygen And nutrients, and waste products are removed.
At eleven weeks after conception the baby has finger-prints and the finger nails are growing.
He can squint, swallow, move his tongue, and would make a fist if you were to stroke his palm.
The baby’s brain now has the same structure baby will have at birth.
The baby’s teeth have formed,
The pancreas is secreting insulin
Villi (finger-like projections that absorb nutrients) are developing in the baby’s intestines.
TWELVE WEEKS
SLIDE 9 BABY AT TWELVE WEEKS
At twelve weeks the baby’s lips open and close.
Baby can wrinkle his forehead, raise his/her eyes, turn his head, smile and frown.
The baby loves to suck his thumb!
Baby breaths the amniotic fluid into and out of his lungs to develop them.
His kidneys are making urine.
The baby’s heartbeat can be by an ECG machine, and baby is very much alive, and kicking!
AT TWELVE WEEKS AN ULTRASOUND IS OFTEN PERFORMED

SIXTEEN WEEKS
SLIDE 11 BABY AT 16 WEEKS
At sixteen weeks Baby reacts to sound, sucks and swallows, may get hiccups, yawns and stretches.
The baby has eyelashes and reacts to touch and noise.
Baby is about 8 inches long and about 7 ounces in weight.
The baby’s fingerprints are developed.
EIGHTEEN WEEKS
SLIDE 12 BABY AT 18 WEEKS
At eighteen weeks baby is sucking his thumb!
Although moving since six weeks, at eighteen weeks the mother now feels the movements. It feels like a fluttering, and some new mum’s do not recognise the feeling!
The baby pushes against the lining of the womb!
Baby’s toenails, hair, eyebrows, fringe of eyelashes on closed eyelids are growing.
SLIDE 13 BABY AT 18 WEEKS, EYELIDS SHUT
Girl babies will now have miniature egg cells in their ovaries.
The buds that will become the permanent teeth have formed behind the baby’s milk teeth.
TWENTY WEEKS
SLIDE 14 BABY AT 20 WEEKS
At twenty weeks the baby sleeps and wakes and is fully able to hear.
Baby gets to know Mummy and Daddy’s voice – please speak to your baby- Daddy!
Baby can still move around in the amniotic fluid, and Baby normally settles into a head down position in mummy’s pelvis.
Baby weighs about a pound now.
Baby now has eyebrows.
TWENTY FOUR WEEKS
SLIDE 15 BABY AT 24 WEEKS
At twenty four weeks the baby may possibly dream and can make a fist and punch his fist against the inside of Mummy’s womb!
40% OF BABIES WILL LIVE IF BORN AT 24 WEEKS , AND KEPT IN AN INCUBATOR .

BABY AT 28 WEEKS
SLIDE 17 PREMATURE BABY AT 28 WEEKS
The baby now weighs in at about 3 pounds.
About 90% of babies will survive if born at 28 weeks, if kept in AN INCUBATOR.
SLIDE 18 – INCUBATOR
At 28 weeks, Baby in the womb, or an incubator, has the ability to hear like an adult and can discern the moods and attitudes of its mummy!
So we obviously want happy mummies so we can have happy babies!
The baby urinates about a half litre of urine every day.

Most babies are born at 40 weeks.
Most babies weigh about 7.5 pounds and are about 20 inches long.

Psalm 139 vv.13,14. “For you did form my inward parts: You did knit me together in my mother’s womb I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made”
GOD KNOWS EVERY HUMAN BEING BEFORE HE CREATED THE UNIVERSE
God knows each one of us before conception!
The Bible actually teaches that God knew each human life before He created the Universe.
Jeremiah 1: 3. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you were born I sanctified you. I ordained you as a prophet to the nations”

JUST AS HE CHOSE US IN HIM BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, THAT WE SHOULD BE HOLY AND WITHOUT BLAME BEFORE HIM IN LOVE”

JOB IN THE WOMB
The Bible describes individual people in the womb, using their correct names. Here are some examples:
Job describes himself in the womb as “me”, a small human being:

“Why then have you brought me out of the womb?” Job 10: 18.
“Did not He (God) Who made me in the mother’s womb make them? Did not the same One (God) fashion us in the womb?” Job 31: 15.
JACOB AND ESAU IN THE WOMB

Jacob and Esau in their mother Rebecca’s womb are described as “children” not “foetuses”.
In fact, the Latin word “foetus” does not appear in the Bible at all.
Genesis 25:22: “The children struggled together within her,”
Jacob was very much a little human being in his mother’s womb.
He grabbed hold of his brother Esau’s heel, as described in Hosea 12:3, “He (Jacob) took his brother by the heel in the womb”.
THE ANGEL GABRIEL APPEARED TO ZACCHARIAS IN THE TEMPLE AND SAID:

“Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth
For he will be great in the sight of the Lord; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother’s womb.”
BABY JESUS CHRIST IS DESCIBED AS “THAT HOLY ONE” EVEN BEFORE CONCEPTION

Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
JESUS CHRIST WAS DESCRIBED AS “MY LORD” SOON AFTER CONCEPTION

Luke 1:41, “And it happened when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary that the babe leaped in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit”
Baby John was about 6 – 7 months old, in the womb, and described as a baby, who was so excited that he “leaped for joy!”
Luke 1: 43
Elizabeth then spoke to Mary, and this is what she said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. But why is this granted unto me, that the mother of MY LORD should come to me?”
Baby Jesus was then less than 4 weeks old at most, and was described by Elizabeth as “ My Lord”!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
JESUS CHRIST WAS THERE AT THE BEGINNING, AND HE IS THE AUTHOR OF LIFE

TRY TO THINK OF YOURSELF AS A SUPERNATURAL CREATION OF GOD , CREATED IN THE IMAGE OF BECAUSE THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE!
LIFE STARTS AT CONCEPTION
In the book of James 2:26 , it is recorded:
“The body without the sprit is dead”

We have been carefully studying the life of a baby from conception, which is all about LIFE!
The baby MUST have a spirit, or the baby would be DEAD!
THE SPIRIT ENTERS THE BODY AT CONCEPTION, OR THE BABY WOULD BE DEAD IMMEDIATELY!

AT CONCEPTION THE BABY RECEIVES:
- THE SPIRIT CREATED BY GOD.
