Satellite photographs of the Gulf of Aquaba

Satellite Image Of Gulf Of Aquaba In order to travel to Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia, the Children of Israel had to pass through one of the deepest and widest waterways on Planet Earth, the Gulf of Aquaba. The Gulf of Aquaba is approximately 8 miles across, and up to 1 mile deep. This was no small miracle!

Satellite photographs of the Gulf of Aquaba show that there is only one beach along the Western coastline which would be large enough to accommodate up to 2 million people (the number estimated by many Bible scholars).
