Jesus Christ, the Messiah came to Jerusalem riding on a donkey. This was prophesied in Zechariah 9:9, “Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey”. Nobody else is recorded in the Bible as entering Jerusalem on that date. He is recorded as “having salvation”, indicating that He is the Messiah.
Jesus Christ is the Messiah, and came to Jerusalem in the exact manner, and on the exact date, that had been prophesied in the Old Testament.
